In this episode, I start making & fixing the finishing touches.
The thwart (or yoke) is between the gunwales, and adds a lot of strength as well as a way of carrying the canoe single-handed. The decks fill in the space between the gunwales at the bow and stern, again adding a huge amount of strength. Since they're a focal point of the canoe, they're made as elegant and decorative as I could manage. The seats hang from the inwales, with M6 bolts which pass through precisely cut spacer blocks.
