As for the video,
Appologies for the terrible video quality (but I'm sure I make up for it in sound, read on to find out why I record my laptop this way)
I had actually made this several years ago for a friend and performed it at her mom's memorial service, but I never got around to actually uploading it because I didn't have any artwork associated with it. I kept putting it off because I didn't want to draw a picture for this video but I had to if I wanted to upload it. I'm not a big fan of this song, but a lot of people on Youtube are apparently, and the instrumental versions I've heard on Youtube are abysmal. "If you want something done...." am I right?
All instruments used were software instruments from Garageband.
I played each one using the musical keyboard feature via my laptop. The instruments are not the same as in the original version so of course they will not sound the same, but I did what I could to make sound as authentic as possible with the same 15 year old laptop I used to make the instrumental version of "Strong in the Real Way" (Macbooks are damn good laptops). I can't update my laptop because there's no support for my OS, so no updates for garageband, and no decent screencap software that can run on my system.
I created this using the same method as "Strong in the Real Way" (read the description on that video to learn more, and maybe the comments)
The artwork at the end of the video was drawn by me using color pencils and pen. The night sky was done using the PicsArt app on my phone. The character depicted in the drawing is Robyn, from the movie that the original song is from.
I hope you all enjoy singing this song. Let me know what you think in the comments. If anyone asks, I did it for the music.
