About the Event
The Digital Consciousness Model is an initial attempt at providing a systematic, probabilistic assessment of our evidence for consciousness in AI systems and other biological species. It incorporates a range of leading theories and perspectives on consciousness to arrive at a broad-based assessment of the evidence. The speakers will explain the structure of the model and present its initial results. They will also outline how the model can be developed in the future and how it can serve as a unifying framework for organizing knowledge and tracking key developments in AI consciousness.
