About Melissa: Melissa is a Sexual Assault & Relationship Violence Specialist for SARIS - the Sexual Assault and Relationship Violence - a starting point for students affected by sexual assault, relationship violence, domestic violence, stalking, sexual harassment and other related experiences. The SARIS Specialist is an advocate for students and guides them through their rights, options, resources, and offers support. SARIS meets with students who have personally experienced violence or abuse, who are supporting a friend or family member, or students wanting to learn more about these topics for a class or research.
About Natalie: Natalie, a Victim Advocate for the UW Police Department, provides resources for people who are victims of crimes. helps obtain protection orders, provides accompaniment in court, and assists in navigating the criminal-justic system
