Let's unveil history with Tesoro Compadre, a machine "from the past".
It was quite demanding to metal detect this area due to iron and EMI. Although it wasn't easy to find (or let's say, not to miss) targets, this little detector performed nicely and was fun to use on top.
Yes, I prefer to hear everything in the ground. Due to lack of iron audio I wouldn't use this machine to scout a location, but if you know what you are getting into, the Compadre offers a great metal detecting experience in this type of terrain.
It's a shame that a US company like Tesoro went out of business (recently).
I was surprised by the amount of finds. Some of them were great. The brooch for example looks really nice. It isn't plated. I guess, it even has a small percentage of gold (probably less than 33%, but still).
The "swan" made of lead is interesting as well. If this was a toy, it sure was a strange one :).
I also like the embossed small bottle, but who doesn't...
The "50 Pfennig" 1920's aluminum coins were probably exposed to fire. If you want to know more about this particular coin, visit the following website: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/piec...
I made this hunt after my leg injury in September 2019 (the one with the rusty wire...). This was basically one of my physiotherapy sessions back then :).
I hope you liked it. Don't worry - Xp Deus will make a comeback soon.
Thanks for watching.
