The Namakwa 4x4 Eco Trail is the longest 4x4 route in South Africa. Over 600 km through beautiful desert landscape and rugged terrain near the Orange river and the Namibian border. It is a fantastic self-sufficient experience, where you enjoy the solitude of the desert without seeing other vehicles for days. It took me 6 days to complete it all because I drove many backroads but for those in a rush, it can be done in 3 days. This is the first part of the route, from Pella to Klein Pella. In such a short distance I had to face several complications and I was forced to change the itinerary, defeated by a tough adversary.
