Scicon Aerocomfort 3.0 Road Unboxing and First Impressions - Don't Remove Your Handlebars!

Last year I purchased the Scicon (SC Icon?) Aerocomfort 3.0 Road Bike Travel Bag. I had a few race trips planned that would require me to pack my bike up and fly with it to get to my destination. I had no idea how to fly with a road bicycle because I've never done it before. After countless hours of research I decided on the Scicon Aerocomfort 3.0 Road Bike Travel Bag for a few different reasons.

While this bag may not offer the same durability as a hard case, it is very highly reviewed for its durability. The most enticing reason to buy this bag, however, was not having to remove your handlebars. When looking for a bike travel bag, I wanted something that required minimal effort for tear down and re-build of my bike when I get to my destination. This bike seemed to be exactly that as I didn't have to pull my handlebars, saddle, or seat post.

The bike also has relatively decent dimensions, of course, it's going to be outside standard carry on dimensions depending on your airline, but it will not be OVERWEIGHT because this bike travel bag is also lightweight coming in at under 25 lbs or 11.5 ish kilos.

I personally am stoked to try this bag out.

In the next video I'll actually be packing my bike up to fly out to the Tour de Bloom which is a stage race out in Washington this spring.
