This video will demonstrate how to replace the brake pads and rotors in a 2013 Smart ForTwo car. I am not a professional auto mechanic. Hopefully, this video will help someone like me who wants to work on their Smart Car.
The video should apply to any Smart ForTwo for model years 2008 to 2015.
Tools needed:
• Jack
• Breaker bars
• Torque wrench
• 15mm socket for lug bolts
• 13mm or 1/2 inch socket for caliper bolts
• 11/16 wrench to hold caliper bolt
• 19mm or 3/4 inch socket for caliper mount bolts
• T30 Torx driver for rotor screw
• 2 inch C clamp
• Bungie cord
Supplies Needed:
• Threadlocker Blue
• Brake cleaner spray
• Brake lubricant
