Great day everyone! Walk me along RECTO to QUIAPO PHILIPPINES and witness a huge devotion tradition of Catholicism as the Lent season starts. Today is ash wednesday where the cross ash on the foreheads symbolizes death and repentance. Some people still usually do abstinence during the season where pork is not eaten. The ashes are made from the palm used from the last year's celebration. It has been a long time since people were locked inside their homes and not allowed to go to church. However, there's no longer stopping the devotees as the level 1 restriction is already implemented in the Philippines. Enjoy the walk! ☺️
