As we debate immigration to the United States, it is worth seeing this scene from "It's a Big Country," filmed 66 years ago. Even though the film egregiously leaves out blacks and women, and gives only the tiniest reference to "Jews and Chinese," it still seeks to highlight that there is more than a simplistic view of "The American Culture." William Powell and James Whitmore are of course standouts.
