I build intelligent distributed systems, both local-first and cloud-aware, but my career began with embedded microcontrollers in high performance audio applications. As my path through numerous technologies led to exciting opportunities in pharma, automotive, finance and media, it inevitably returned to the interpersonal realm of building high-performing teams that innovate. Whether the goal was building an AI-driven medical decision engine in a high-security-postured environment or architecting global e-commerce and media streaming platforms, the challenge centered on delivering complex solutions that are responsive to customer needs while operating efficiently at scale.

I delight in delivering value, enjoy staying "close to the work", take pleasure in mentoring others across disciplines, and consider my strongest asset to be an approach to contribution from the perspective of a servant leader and life-long learner.

As a skilled full-stack developer with a focus on front-end web development, I have a wealth of experience in various programming languages, including Elm, JS/TS, C#, and more. I have been using Elm professionally since 2017 and am passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest tech trends and practices, including TDD and OSS.
In addition to my programming expertise, I have a few other hobbies that keep me busy outside of work. I'm currently working towards obtaining my private pilot's license, which combines my love of aviation with the thrill of learning new skills. When I'm not flying or programming, I enjoy 3D printing, soldering and tinkering with anything that has a chip inside.
