Catching Shad with Livescope. Watching The Castnet Fall.

A quick trip out to lake Oologah with me, Jerry Starkey of Starkey Outdoors. I was utilizing Garmins Livescope to catch shad with a 6ft bait buster cast net. The shad tend to hang out in deep water in the wintertime so you need a cast net that sinks quickly. Even with a heavy cast net, you can see on the Garmin Livescope that it still looses half its diameter before hitting the bottom at twenty foot. I have my Garmin Livescope LVS 32 transducer attached to a Sea Lite Pole mount. Fishing out of my Seaark Procat 240.
May cast net size is 3/8 not 5/8 as I misspoke.
