This is the 5 Whys and Root Cause Analysis video from our crash course at Continuous Improvement Central. The full course is designed for an instructor to get their trainees to almost instantly put the concept of the 5 Whys to use in solving problems. It combines a quick video that can be played in many situations--at morning stand-up meetings, when the production line shuts down, before kaizen team participation, or when the team member is tasked with solving a problem and needs a quick hand in learning something. The goal is to provide leaders with flexible tools to match their continuous improvement training needs.
In addition to the video, the course has downloadable content to help the trainee use the tool. The trainer can also assess the learner and issue them a certificate to verify the successful completion of the course within the company's training program.
