Harvesting CORN silage with MrsTheCamPeR | Calmsden Farm | Farming Simulator 22 | Episode 20

Today we are at the Calmsden Farm with MrsTheCamPeR and we have to harvest corn silage. We started by jumping into JCB Workmax and Toyota Hilux and going to the main shed. I used JCB 541-70 Agri PRO telehandler to load the silage additive pallet in the back of the JCB Workmax and MrsTheCamPeR helped. Then I switched pallet forks for the silage fork on the telehandler and we headed to the silage bunker. We parked the telehandler and JCB Workmax there and then headed back to the main shed. I jumped into JCB 4220 Fastrac and MrsTheCamPeR jumped into Hilux and we headed to the local BGA to get the equipment we need for the harvest. When we arrived I talked with the manager and we got the Claas Jaguar 990 with Claas Orbis 900 and Marshall QM/14 silage trailer. MrsTheCamPeR jumped into the forage harvester and I attached the silage trailer to the JCB 4220 Fastrac and we headed back to the farm. When we got back we filled the forage harvester with silage additive and then we headed to the field and started harvesting corn silage. MrsTheCamPeR was running the forage harvester and I was carting with the tractor and trailer. We did almost two headland passes and we need to refuel the forage harvester so MrsTheCamPeR drove it back to the cowbarn and refueled it. After that was done we continued harvesting corn silage. When we finished harvesting headlands I stopped at the silage bunker and jumped into the telehandler and did some compacting and leveling. Then I parked the telehandler and jumped into the tractor and continued carting silage. Halfway through the field, we decided to switch the positions so again I stopped at the bunker and did some compacting and leveling with the telehandler. After that was done we switched and I ran the forage harvester and MrsTheCamPeR carted silage. We finished harvesting the corn silage and then we switched again, MrsTheCamPeR took the forage harvester back to the main shed to wash it and I unloaded leftover silage and then did some compacting and leveling. When that was done I drove a tractor and trailer also to the main shed and MrsTheCamPeR washed them. Then we returned the borrowed equipment back to the local BGA and then we headed back to the farm. We parked the JCB 4220 Fastrac in the shed and Hilux in front of the shed and then headed to the bunker silo to get the leftover equipment. We got the telehandler and JCB Workmax back to the shed and then we washed the telehandler. After that was done I switched the silage fork for the pallet fork and then used it to unload the silage additive pallet from the JCB Workmax. When that was done I parked the telehandler and we headed back to the house. We parked vehicles at the house and then headed inside the house to take a lunch break.
