Urusevsky’s cinematography emphasizes personal drama over public platitude, with sweeping crane shots and expressive close-ups adding depth to the narrative. His use of bold compositions and stark contrasts creates a visually compelling experience that is both beautiful and haunting. The film’s visual language manages to be incredibly expressive and emotionally powerful, making it a standout in the history of cinema.
