• Caveat: A pomegranate picked too early will naturally have higher acidity/ tartness. A pomegranate picked too late will have very little to no acidity/ tartness. Each pomegranate variety achieves peak ripeness at different times and is affected by each year’s highs & lows. Therefore, please be mindful that our taste-testing is relative to a small window of ripening time and does not fully represent the value of each variety that ideally should be enjoyed over an entire ripening season, and even over a period of several years and most trees produce better quality fruit once better established.
