Sonia Wieder-Atherton is a renowned Franco-American cellist, who collaborated closely with director Chantal Akerman as a musician, composer and music advisor while also featuring in some of her films.
Paying tribute to Chantal Akerman, she gave a live concert followed by the screening of Akerman’s short film Blow Up my City (Saute ma ville).
The event concluded with a Q&A chaired by director Lisa Rovner.
