The Good:

The airport looks incredible at any time of day, with dynamic lighting that captures the “Hollywood” vibe and the bustle of a true global hub.

Taxiing past the Tom Bradley International at sunset is jaw-dropping, and the new interiors and animated jetways add a new layer of immersion.

Venice Beach and the city skyline are visible from the air, making approaches and departures feel cinematic.

The Not-So-Good:

Performance Drops: Like many users, I noticed significant FPS drops and microstutters, especially during taxi, approach, and landing at KLAX—even on high-end hardware.

Heavy on Resources: If you’re running lots of AI/live traffic (FSLTL, PSXT, etc.), expect FPS to dip by 10–20 or more, and stutters can get severe with complex aircraft or multiplayer enabled.

Stutter Hotspots: The most demanding areas are around the Tom Bradley terminal, the main aprons, and when panning the camera quickly. Even with settings dialed down, LA’s density and the sheer detail of this scenery can overwhelm many systems.

Reduce AI/Live Traffic: Lowering the number of AI planes or using static aircraft can help recover FPS.
