Artificial intelligence is reshaping how data is produced, governed, and communicated across the Global South. To foster peer learning and strengthen ethical, people-centred AI, Cepei, PARIS21, ILDA, the Open Data Charter and the Local Development Research Institute are co-hosting a regional webinar of the LAC Community of Practice.
The session will explore real-world use cases of AI for data and data for AI from Latin America, the Caribbean, and Africa, showing how responsible data practices enable trustworthy AI systems that serve the public interest.
