UT Austin Admission Changes! (Look in the Comments)

UT Austin released SIX BIG changes for their admissions process starting this year! Last one is the most important!

1. Standardized Testing is now REQUIRED.

2. There is now an Early Action on October 15th and you get your results on January 15th.

3. They now accept other common app essays besides the “my story” essay.

4. They reduced the number of required short answers from 3 → 2

5. They now have a waitlist where they release their decisions by March 1st.

6. They now STRONGLY ENCOURAGE recommendation letters from outside of school.
