Royally Screwed - Mario Kart 8 Highlights #2

Hi, all! Decided to make this a thing. The replay thing. It gives me something to do and memories to share, albeit scarcely, because of how strict and unexplorable MKTV is. I would capture and edit this myself, but I unfortunately lack a capture device... Also a computer... Been using the Wii U for all my online needs. Sad, huh?

Anywho, real talk? That red Mii with the Sports Coupe? Japanese name? TOUGH AS NAILS. Not only were they 2000+ VR points ahead of me, but also significantly more ruthless and cunning than I. Their sniping game was raw as hell! I had to brake my rule of "don't use items offensively to avoid winning via RNG" to try and make the races I had interesting. This race shows the results of me trying to be on the offensive. ...Karma bruised me pretty bad to say the least.

The first big mistake I made, which isn't shown here (right, MKTV?), is my lines on lap 1. See, I had inside-drifting and a +weight character while they had a kart, so I was confident I could just pressure them into taking wider turns, because if they tried to outdo my handling, I would just make tighter turns and be in a better position to ram them, specially since I was being aided by drafts. Thing is, I failed to notice their Mii was a heavyweight as well, so that ended up with me being rammed into the off-road for a bit, leading to that Koopa Troopa redding me later, which IS shown here, surprise, surprise.

The rest of the race was just a mess. Items everywhere. Nobody is safe. The gods have forsaken us. The wrath of the RNG shall be felt throughout the land, and no power in our universe will be able to stop it. Fear it. The RNG cometh. Heck, the replay doesn't even show everything! I was rammed out of the road, like, three times after that, be it by the hands of a scoundrel armed with a 'shroom out for my blood or unfortunate timing on a draft. But my objective was clear. I shall emerge victorious in this war against the treacherous (^p^), and if I have to transcend my limits and be born anew to defeat this fiend, then be reborn, I shall! ...Didn't have to do that, though. They were as unlucky as I was. Might post their POV later, just for you to get some perspective on that.

I'll post the things like my build and players here later. Too lazy right now.
