In this video, we take a look at a vintage model kit: Airfix Gloster Meteor III Jet fighter from the Second World War era, in 1/72 scale. This version of the kit was released in 1975, while the original tooling is from 1970. Airfix has re-released this kit several times, with the last iteration using the original tool being released in 2008. They made a new tool in 2022 and the latest version that is currently available is from 2024.
It exists now as a part of my growing stack of Someday Models.
Models that sit around in the cupboard waiting to be built...someday.
