Another book review, this time for Urban Aboriginals. This fairly graphic read takes a close look at leather culture on the west coast in the 70's and 80's. Part personal journal, part scientific deep dive, part cultural reflection, it paints a vivid picture of the community that directly spawned the modern American piercing industry. While not directly piercing and tattoo related, I still consider it a great read for those wanting to understand what created the modern industry here in america.
