Dr. Krishnamurthy V. Subramanian, a leading economist, is the 17th and the youngest Chief Economic Advisor of India since December 2018. He is a distinguished alumnus of IIT Kanpur and IIM Calcutta. He completed his PhD from University of Chicago Booth School of Business under the supervision of Luigi Zingales and Raghuram Rajan in the field of financial economics. He is also an eminent professor at the Indian School of Business. As per Economic Times he is the world's leading experts in banking, corporate governance and economic policies with a balanced experience of intellectual, corporate and administrative world.
