This is the Winners-Bracket Semi-Final match from the World Cyber Games (WCG) USA 2002 qualifier. It was a USA-only Quake3 LAN tournament, for the WCG Grand-Finals that was held in Korea later that year.
The event was held on Oct. 5th, 2002 in New-York City.
The players in this video are: Jason "Socrates" Sylka (USA) and Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel (USA).
The game is Quake III Arena + OSP (a mod for competitive play).
The map played is Q3TOURNEY2 / The Proving Grounds.
The tournament format is BO1 or Best Of One matches.

The match starts at 0:35 but the casting starts at 2:24, because djWheat joined the game a bit later. So for the first 2 minutes of the match, there is going to be just the in-game sounds.
