GE90! British Airways Boeing 777-36N(ER) Pushback, Taxi, Takeoff // London Heathrow Airport (LHR)

Join me onboard a British Airways Boeing 777-300ER as we prepare for departure, pushback, taxi, takeoff and climb southbound for sunny Spain! 😄

We begin at Terminal 5C at London Heathrow Airport (LHR/EGLL) onboard this 7 year old Boeing 777-36N(ER). After boarding nice and early, we still had to wait some time before all the containers were loaded into the aircraft hold, and we ended up picking up a small ATC slot restriction. A short time later it was time for us to pushback and head out to the runway, starting up those two massive GE90 engines! (TURN YOUR SPEAKERS UP! 😍). We taxied out to Runway 27R, joining the queue of aircraft waiting to depart. It isn't long until it is our turn, lining up on the runway and blasting down 27R, a nice early rotation and quick climb allowing for some awesome views of Terminal 5! 😃 We make a left turn, continuing our climb out towards Southampton. The video ends as we are well on our way to Madrid, passing over the beautiful south coast of England and Isle of Wight below! 🛫
