पुणे महापालिका निवडणुकीच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर महाविकास आघाडीतील समन्वयावर प्रश्नचिन्ह निर्माण झाले असून काँग्रेस शहराध्यक्ष अरविंद शिंदे यांनी राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेस (शरदचंद्र पवार गट) संदर्भात नाराजी व्यक्त केली आहे.

अरविंद शिंदे म्हणाले, “आज सकाळपासून आम्ही निवडणुकीच्या बैठकीसाठी बसलो आहोत. राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेसच्या नेत्यांनाही बैठकीसाठी निरोप दिला होता. ते दुपारी येणार होते, मात्र अद्याप त्यांचे नेते आलेले नाहीत. तरीही काल ज्या जागा त्यांच्यासाठी ठेवल्या होत्या, त्या आजही तशाच ठेवण्यात आल्या आहेत.”

ते पुढे म्हणाले, “काल आम्ही तिघे बसलो होतो, आज ते का आले नाहीत हा त्यांचा प्रश्न आहे. आजही आम्ही त्यांची वाट पाहत आहोत. आमची १६५ जागांची यादी पूर्णपणे तयार आहे. आजही त्यांच्यासाठी ठरवलेल्या जागांमध्ये कोणताही बदल केलेला नाही. सर्व याद्या पूर्ण झाल्या आहेत.”

राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेसच्या भूमिकेबाबत बोलताना शिंदे यांनी स्पष्ट नाराजी व्यक्त केली. “मी त्यांच्या सर्व प्रमुख नेत्यांना फोन केला. मात्र काही नेते फोन उचलत नाहीत. ज्यांच्यावर जबाबदारी होती, त्या सर्वांना संपर्क करण्याचा प्रयत्न केला. तरीही प्रतिसाद मिळत नाही,” असे त्यांनी सांगितले.

“आज रात्रीपर्यंत आम्ही निर्णय घेणार आहोत. आमचा ‘बी प्लॅन’ही तयार आहे. कुणी आले किंवा कुणी नाही आले, तरी काँग्रेस आणि ठाकरे गट पुण्यात ताकदीने निवडणूक लढवणार आहेत. आमच्या सर्व तयारी पूर्ण आहेत,” असेही त्यांनी स्पष्ट केले.

महाविकास आघाडीबाबत भूमिका स्पष्ट करताना शिंदे म्हणाले, “ही आघाडी काँग्रेस, शिवसेना (ठाकरे गट) आणि राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेस (शरदचंद्र पवार गट) यांची आहे. मात्र पुढे काय होईल हे सांगता येत नाही. आम्ही कुणाची वाट पाहत बसलेलो नाही, आमचे काम सुरू आहे. आम्ही बोलावले होते, ते मात्र निघून गेले.”

“आज-उद्या उमेदवारांच्या याद्या अंतिम होतील. राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेस शरदचंद्र पवार पक्षाने आता तरी निर्णय घ्यायला हवा. आधी ५०-५० चा फॉर्म्युला ठरला होता. मात्र राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेस परत येईल, असे सध्या वाटत नाही,” असा स्पष्ट इशाराही अरविंद शिंदे यांनी दिला.

या घडामोडींमुळे पुण्यातील महाविकास आघाडीतील जागावाटप आणि एकत्र लढण्याबाबत संभ्रम निर्माण झाला असून पुढील एक-दोन दिवसांत राजकीय चित्र स्पष्ट होण्याची शक्यता आहे.

Against the backdrop of the Pune Municipal Corporation elections, questions have arisen regarding coordination within the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), with Congress city president Arvind Shinde expressing dissatisfaction with the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar group).

Arvind Shinde said, “Since this morning, we have been sitting for election meetings. The leaders of the Nationalist Congress Party were also informed about the meeting. They were supposed to come in the afternoon, but their leaders have not yet arrived. Despite this, the seats that were reserved for them yesterday have been kept the same today.”

He further added, “Yesterday, the three of us were sitting together; why they haven't come today is their question. We are still waiting for them today. Our list of 165 seats is completely ready. Even today, there has been no change in the seats decided for them. All the lists are complete.”

Speaking about the Nationalist Congress Party's stance, Shinde expressed clear displeasure. “I called all their prominent leaders. However, some leaders are not answering the phone. I tried to contact everyone who was responsible. Yet, there is no response,” he said.

“We will take a decision by tonight. Our ‘Plan B’ is also ready. Whether someone comes or not, the Congress and the Thackeray group will contest the elections strongly in Pune. All our preparations are complete,” he clarified.

Clarifying the position regarding the Maha Vikas Aghadi, Shinde said, “This alliance is of the Congress, Shiv Sena (Thackeray group), and the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar group). However, it is difficult to say what will happen next. We are not waiting for anyone; our work is underway. We had called them, but they left.”

“The lists of candidates will be finalized today or tomorrow. The Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar group) should take a decision now. Earlier, a 50-50 formula was decided. But it doesn't seem like the Nationalist Congress Party will return now,” Arvind Shinde warned.

These developments have created confusion regarding seat-sharing and contesting together within the Maha Vikas Aghadi in Pune, and the political picture is likely to become clearer in the next one or two days.
