2025 Lexus LC 500 Bespoke POV test drive, spirited drive, highway drive, launch control, 0-60 acceleration, exhaust sound, review.
The LC debuted in 2018 and while its design isn’t for everyone, one thing we can’t deny is its presence. After being on the market for almost 7 years it still turns as many heads as it did when it first launched and cannot be mistaken with anything else on the road. It is available also as a convertible and there is a limited edition Inspiration Series.
The true beauty comes from within, and in the case of the LC 500, it comes from under the hood. The 5-liter naturally aspirated V8, produces 471 hp, 398 lb-ft of torque, and one of the best soundtracks ever. There’s also a 354-hp hybrid variant (LC 500h).
The rear-wheel drive platform that the LC is built on isn’t unique to this car, but it is reserved to the flagship Lexus LS and two other Toyota models - the hydrogen-powered Mirai and the JDM-only Crown Sedan. It features high strength steel, aluminum, and carbon fiber, and the suspension is a multilink setup front and back, combined with adaptive dampers.
As a true GT, the LC has to be a fun to drive vehicle, so for better driving dynamics you can either get the Sport Package, which features performance brake pads and a Torsen limited slip OR the Dynamic Handling Package, which adds carbon fiber roof, variable ratio steering with rear steering, and a speed activated rear wing for better downforce.
Competition includes a Corvette C8, Lexus RCF, Nissan GTR, Porsche 911, Jaguar F Type, Acura NSX, Aston Martin Vantage, Toyota Supra, Dodge Challenger Hellcat or a Ford Mustang GT.
