First run with my new FMS FCX10 Camel Trophy Discovery.
How did they make it so quiet !!!
Really impressed with the rig which other than my Chuds RC weathering and cosmetic alterations was running bone stock.
My only real issue was with the drag brake, or should I say lack of it, even when set to 100%. Will hold in forwards but any throttle whatsoever and off it goes uncontrollably so will be ripping out stock ESC and motor and installing a 1200KV HW Fusion.
And will be unplugging the indicators as they were driving me crazy. Apparently there is already a version 2 out where you can disable them with the remote, mine unfortunately will not.
Definitely needs some brass down low especially at the front although I can't currently find much available other than diff covers. Already have some steel bead lock wheels on order.
As for tyres, other than a tad on the large size it was difficult to judge the performance fairly as the weather had made everything in the woods extremely slippery. On the whole they performed okay on the day.
