💥 Derailed by foreign object! Light Rail derailment at Chung Uk Tseun & train diversion arrangements

There was a Light Rail derailment on 2024/05/18 morning at Chung Uk Chuen Stop. The derailment was caused by a foreign object from a truck. The truck driver was arrested not long after the accident occurred. The derailment caused LR routes between Tuen Mun and Tin Shui Wai, Yuen Long (610,614,615,751) to divert to Hung Tin Road Emergency Platform. A free shuttle was available between the Hung Tin Road and Siu Hong.

2024年5月18日上午有輕鐵列車在鍾屋村站脱軌，原因是貨車落下的物件引致列車脱軌，貨車司機在意外後不久就被拘捕。事故期間，輕鐵屯門來往天水圍及元朗的610、614、615、751綫受阻近3小時，並改道至兆康及洪水橋緊急月台為終點站，兩站之間有免費接駁巴士服務。
