This special Election Night 2024 broadcast marked a milestone as my first election show and a truly unique one. Originally a one-hour 6 PM newscast, the show transformed into a 30-minute, digital-exclusive election special, delivering focused, team-based coverage for viewers online.
This broadcast provided in-depth insight into local races and ballot issues, helping voters better understand what was on the ballot and why their vote matters. The goal was not only to inform, but also to encourage civic engagement and voter participation.
In addition to local election coverage, the show also followed the 2024 presidential race, as voters decided between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris—a historic election in which one would become the next President of the United States.
This digital-first election special reflects a new approach to election coverage: concise, informative, and accessible, while still delivering the critical information voters need on one of the most important nights in democracy.
