Lockdown Walk St Monans to Elie

I'm very fortunate to live in the East Neuk of Fife in the beautiful fishing village of St Monans. When Lockdown started last March I really struggled for a while, being a keen lover or the great outdoors especially the Scottish mountains. I found myself walking this section of the Fife coastal path between St Monans and Elie on a regular basis. So I wanted to make video to remember this walk during some challenging times.
One of the positives to come from Lockdown was the opportunity to explore my local area more than I'd ever done before and along this route I found myself discovering more photo compositions on my doorstep which I'd never realised before.
This short video takes you from my house through the village of St Monans past the famous Zigzag harbour wall and the Auld Kirk, on to Newark Castle siting high above the cliffs. It then follows the the coastal path all the way to Elie Ness and the Lady's Tower and Lighthouse. Along the way you see signs of the old railway which as long gone.
