Refurbished Federal Sign & Signal Thunderbolt 1003A test | Hi Lo | Silverstreet, SC 3/22/25

So since the famous Silverstreet Thunderbolt was reinstalled on Tuesday, I just had to come down and film it's first official post-resurrection test, where I was joined by a few other enthusiasts, and holy crap this thing was LOUD, especially since the air leak was fixed. As you can hear, the high tone solenoid was seemingly getting stuck periodically, and towards the last 10 or so seconds the blower completely called it quits, which was caused by the relief valve being rusted shut as a result of the blower sitting dormant for the better part or 2-3 years, which tripped the blower contactor and made the whole thing shut off prematurely. After the initial test, Daniel Doolittle and Brendan Williamson fixed the relief valve, and set it off once again for a FULL CYCLE of hi lo! All of which I recorded and will be in a separate video. Overall, this was definitely an awesome test, and a day I certainly won't ever forget. Enjoy!

(Do not bother CSC about the blower or solenoid, the blower was fixed right after the test and the solenoid issue is being handled.)
