When you look at a family portrait of a biologically related family. You can't necessarily see all the different struggles that people were dealing with. But whenever people looked at my family picture it was always very obvious that there was something different that was going on. The most important thing for parents is a sense of hope. We're often downhearted and frustrated and seeking resources and no one tells us that there's hope for healing. The awareness that we're bringing with this campaign also brings a message of hope. There is something that you can do about it. Ready to, go all right. We are on a five city bus tour to spread understanding, sensitivity, and compassion for the lifelong impact of early life trauma so that more people become aware of these issues. We're launching in Minneapolis and then we move on to Chicago followed by Boston on to Philadelphia and Washington DC where we'll end on Capitol Hill meeting with a bunch of legislators. I'm most excited about it being here at this campaign is talking about the developmental trauma. They're putting it in the dsm-5. It's something that's not in the dsm-5 and it really affects children getting the right treatment. When we look at treating adoptive families who inherent in adoption is a separation experience because their separation it results in a trauma and a stress to that child. At Calo we provide various options for treatment. Wilderness programming, residential programming, canine therapy treatment, intensive Family Therapy and we provide treatment for young adults. When I was 16 I had a lot of anxiety and depression because of my childhood trauma and I went to new vision and it gave me new hope. We hear this from a lot of families. Calo saved our life because of the relationship because of the structure because you guys look deeper than just changing behaviors. I am hopeful for healing I do think that being adopted is a lifelong journey.
