Valve to Piston Mishap Avoided! 496 Big Block Chevy Fly Cutter Save :D

Putting together a motor will always make you realize the devil is in the details! Was putting the engine together and got the short block together in the last video only to realize there was more to the puzzle! Once I did the clay check for the piston to valve clearance realized the radial clearance on the intake was too close! Had to rent a fly cutter from Lindy Tool Company (link below) and Dave there dialed me in! It is 0.060" radially larger which translated to about 0.080"-0.100" of clearance, more than enough! It is super important to check this if you're building a custom engine like me. Motor is all back together and running perfect! More videos coming soon.
