I was fortunate to have the opportunity to sit down with George Klabin for a discussion that will be spread over several videos in the coming weeks. Part 1 focuses on George's first discovery of jazz that took him from childhood through college where he DJ'd on Columbia University's WKCR station. Upcoming videos will include his reminiscing of famous recording sessions and artists, as well as his founding of the Resonance Records label which has dominated the jazz output of Record Store Day for over a decade.
