Stuff the hole with some paper to stop the plaster from falling into the hole in the wall
The way I patch a hole in a wall video, I start with a piece of plastic. I then added some powder plaster to the bag, and I added small amounts of water while I was mixing the combination to create a paste-like compound to apply to the wall hole
Using a big and a small patching blade, I apply the plaster to the affected area
