Gigantamax Snorlax has once again being featured as Max Battle Day Boss in Season: Precious Paths.

Gigantamax Snorlax stats remains to be the same as it was in Go Fest: Max Finale, with 135000 HP and 0.65 CPM. This means Gigantamax Snorlax has similar defense stats as other Gigantamax Bosses with slightly less attack.

This time, we will go for Trio Battle without any premium bonuses (Adventure Effect and Max Mushroom), using a Lv40 team. Similar to Duo Battle, we would rely on Crowned Sword Zacian tanking Gigantamax Snorlax's Outrage to keep the team surviving even after Gigantamax Snorlax got stronger.

The main difference, as you can see, would be Dynamax Shuckle joining the battle this time instead of Crowned Shield Zamazenta. While Dynamax Shuckle has extremely low attack stat and low HP stat, it has the highest Defense stats in this game. This means it has the strongest Max Guard in this game without accounting for type effectiveness.

Why was it never featured until now, then? Of course, it has a critical flaw - lacking a 1-turn fast move. Without a 1-turn fast move, we would lose time having Dynamax Shuckle switching in and out tanking moves, limiting its effectiveness in practice.

This time, we will use Dynamax Shuckle to tank target move specifically. With this being a Trio Battle, time cost on sending Dynamax Shuckle out can be mitigated a bit by other 2 Crowned Sword Zacian in the field, allowing it to tank moves without lagging down Max Meter's charging too much.

With Shuckle's high defense and Gigantamax Snorlax's mild attack stat, it can even tanks Gigantamax Snorlax's Skull Bash, which is a moderately powerful STAB move. At last, the team has defeated Gigantamax Snorlax successfully with around 20% time left.
