In this project, I’ve built a compact thermal imaging camera using the MLX90640 IR array sensor connected to an ESP32-CYD board. The ESP32 handles the image processing and streams the live thermal feed directly to a smartphone over Wi-Fi – no extra hardware required!
This setup turns the ESP32 into a real-time thermal camera system that you can view wirelessly on your phone. Perfect for DIY electronics enthusiasts, makers, or anyone curious about thermal imaging technology.
