i am running my van on propane with a torch as a redneck carburetor. fuel pump and injectors were unplugged so no gas would be injected into the engine.
This is just a proof of concept and testing was done in a rural area with barely any traffic. This is NOT a proper conversion nor is it designed to be used after this video. This is just to prove that it can be done easily on any engine, but needs to have proper control / mixing devices. in this prototype gas pedal is air and torch is fuel. Proper mixing device will control both together.
Due to limited fuel flow, this setup is not drivable past what you saw. Acceleration is extremely lacking and vehicle is lucky to eventually reach 25 mph.
