Part 2 of Pokémon Legends: Z-A picks up immediately after the quiet nighttime conversation with Taunie at the hotel.

With the idea of promotional matches now on the table, we head back out into Lumiose City to take our next steps forward. This episode focuses heavily on learning how the city’s battle system works, meeting more people connected to the ranking structure, and proving ourselves through a series of official matches.

As the episode progresses, we take on multiple battles, refine our team, and steadily work our way up through the ranks. Each match feels more intense than the last, showing that Lumiose isn’t just a city — it’s a competitive battlefield where reputation matters.

By the end of the episode, we successfully reach Rank X, marking a major milestone early in the journey. After returning to the hotel for the night, the episode ends right before an important upcoming confrontation with Naveen, setting the stage for a high-stakes battle in Part 3.
