A E. F. Santa Catarina foi uma ferrovia que cruzava o Vale do Itajaí, em Santa Catarina, quando inaugurada ligava as cidades de Blumenau a Warnow, em Indaial. Sua extensão máxima foi de 184 quilômetros.

Construída no início do século passado por descendentes alemães, a E. F. Santa Catarina foi inaugurada em 3 de maio de 1909 e desativada em 1971, sendo que sua última utilização na enchente de 1984 para atendimento às vítimas da catástrofe.
Existe um projeto para revitalização da EFSC, chamado de Ferrovia das Bromélias, no traçado original, entre as estações de Matador (Rio do Sul) à Apiúna. Uma locomotiva a vapor, carros de passageiros, a estação de Matador foram restauradas pela ABPF, assim como o reassentamento dos trilhos, doados pelo DNIT, no trecho próximo a esta estação. O projeto consiste em passeios turísticos neste trecho, tendo o principal apelo as paisagens verdes do Vale, com as corredeiras do Itajaí-Açu logo abaixo, além de contar a história da colonização desta região e das engenharias utilizadas pela esquecida ferrovia.

E. F. Santa Catarina was a railroad that crossed the Itajaí Valley, in Santa Catarina, when it was inaugurated, it connected the cities of Blumenau to Warnow, in Indaial. Its maximum length was 184 kilometers.

Built at the beginning of the last century by German descendants, E. F. Santa Catarina was inaugurated on May 3, 1909 and deactivated in 1971, its last use being in the 1984 flood to assist the victims of the catastrophe.
There is a project for the revitalization of the EFSC, called Ferrovia das Bromélias, in the original route, between the stations of Matador (Rio do Sul) to Apiúna. A steam locomotive, passenger cars, the Matador station were restored by ABPF, as well as the resettlement of the tracks, donated by DNIT, in the stretch close to this station. The project consists of sightseeing tours in this stretch, with the main appeal being the green landscapes of the Valley, with the rapids of the Itajaí-Açu just below, in addition to telling the story of the colonization of this region and the engineering used by the forgotten railroad.
