WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers - Commander Honglan

The boss is tough specially since im lv 35 with vitality of 35, strength 36 and my longsword is at +4. She took little over hour of tries before i beat her. I tried playing defensive but the boss is too aggressive and if I get stuck in her combo, i lose 60% of my health easily. So i tried to play aggressive with basically 2 strategy. one is deflect her attack right before she uses her dash/trust attack and punish we with my charged heavy attack. only use charged heavy attack if you have skyborn might which charges your attack quick using 1 skyborn might. that is the issue specially at the start of the fight since you dont have skyborn until you hit her few times. So this is where I tried using my second strategy which is perfect dodge to the left. perfect dodge gives me 1 skyborn might which is enough for the charged attack. usually after her dash attack, she is beside or behind, so charged attack hits her back which staggers her and making her vulnerable for backstab attack and few more hits while she is down dealing huge damage. dont get too greedy, after few hits like 3 or 4, dodge back and recover your stamina/health if needed.

her phase two is the most problematic where she can easily bring you health down to 10% with her combos and range attack. same strategy, just deflect or dodge and spam charged heavy attack. your charged heavy attack can also cancel some of her attack like her airborne stomp attack.

armor im weaing is centipede set (good protection against slashing damage, this i bought from the merchant at shu temple after defeating the centipede boss). I also have Eagle pendant which you pick up in the area right before her. The pendant increases you back stab damage.
