Directed by Josh Safdie, the film has quickly become one of the most talked about releases of the year before audiences even had a chance to see it. But does all that hype actually translate into a great movie? In this review, I break down why "Marty Supreme" isn't quite the film its marketing wants you to believe it is. From uneven storytelling to weak characterization structure, I explore where the movie works, where it falls short, and why it ultimately feels more overhyped than ever.
