Sharpening your chainsaw can be done a lot of ways ... some guys like to hand file ...others bench grind ...some use a rotary tool grinder...I don't care if you use a brick...as long as you can get it sharp and it cuts...GREAT! Sharp is sharp no matter the method. I hand filed for 30 years to sharpen my chains and now after 12 years or so of using a Dremel rotary tool and a Oregon stone bit to sharpen, I can accomplish the same sharpness either way but one way is 4-5 times as fast. Watch!
