In this series of videos I'm going to go through the process of writing a Big Band chart in MuseScore 4, highlighting some tips and tricks in working with MuseScore 4, as well as evaluating the playback potential that MuseScore 4's MuseSounds provide for a Big Band.
In this video I start the process from scratch and start the outline with a chord progression, adding a very simple bass line and 8 bar melodic phrase so that we can start adding closed voicing in the horns.
