Malta has enjoyed some scarce visitors these past few days, including Short-toed Eagles, a Common Buzzard and a Red Kite.
Unfortunately, this morning (Tuesday 30th September 2014) a Short-toed Eagle was suspected shot, after a night watch team heard gun shots where the bird was roosting.
