Pokémon Soul Silver - Battle vs. Leader Clair & Champion Lance

At Dragon's Den, we can find our rival training his Pokémon. If you go talk with him, Lance and Clair will appear and challenge you for a double battle: you and the rival, vs. the dragon trainers.

This battle was actually quite fun. My strategy was taking care of Lance's Pokémon first, due to it's levels (he uses Pokémon's from the Elite Four rematch, at levels 68-68-75). Gyarados was easy to kill, and I planned to hit Charizard with Ampharos' Power Gem - but my plans got ruined by that critical-hit Flamethrower.

I followed with Lapras, which was running a Choice Specs to power Ice Beam - it took down Charizard and Dragonite easily.

My Dragonite was a complete fail . First it misses Dragon Rush, and then gets KO by Clair's Kingdra. Since the rival was using Gengar, I decided to make a Gengar's duo and mine finished the show.

I wasn't expecting the rival to be so useful in this battle. Feraligatr could have done a better job, with Ice Fang, but Gengar was really helpful in the battle. Next up, Suicune and Zapdos, and Gym Leader rematches. Enjoy it!
