26001 was repainted BR Green, named "Eastfield" and given its original number in 1992 along with 26007 (D5300) which was the last loco to be repainted at Eastfield before it closed. In the summer of 1993 the pair were often seen double heading the Inverness to Kyle service which was diagrammed for Class 26 haulage on a Wednesday. Both were withdrawn in October 1993, but have been preserved. This O gauge Heljan 26 is fitted with Shawplan etched nameplates and Railtech transfers.
