Can You Find A Pistol In Dying Light Straight From The Start?

Find a pistol 2 minutes from the start! Is it possible?

This is a follow up to my Can You Max Out Survivor Rank video, except this time I'll be looking into whether you can actually find a pistol in Dying Light straight after leaving the tower right at the start of the campaign. Several people left a comment on my last video pointing out this possibility and so it made sense to look into it in more detail and see if it was not only possible, but if it was even worth having one at this early stage in the game?
